Star Sweep and "Fireflys" in Barton Flats


I produced this image by leaving the shutter open for 45 minutes @ f/11 on a full moon. The long exposure allowed me to move around the scene and create the fireflys by shining a flash light back at the camera for 1 second increments. I created this image using a 5DMkII and a 17mm lens.
